A Gaming Life
A brand new GMT game and I already have a storage solution with Cube4Me trays set up!
Yep, that’s what I’m saying.

Prime Minister is a game I just picked up from the P500 list from GMT. And I managed to pick it up from our mailbox within a day of it arriving, which is really unusual.
It’s a game of Victorian Great Britain politics where players are either the Prime Minister, the Opposition Leader, or one of the backbenchers from one of the parties. They are trying to get to the victory point limit and be Prime Minister at that time.
It sounds intriguing!
I had a few extra trays, and a bunch of card trays, from Cube4Me available, so I thought I would put a set together and see what was what.
This is a surprising set for me, given my feeling on storage solutions.
What am I talking about?
Let me tell you.
There are actually not a lot of pieces in the Prime Minister box.

All it takes is one of the 12-compartment, 15mm depth trays…and you don’t even fill all of the compartments!
You could use thinner tray if the action cubes weren’t so big.
“But Dave,” I’m sure you’re saying, “if you’re not even filling the tray, what’s the point of the storage trays? Aren’t baggies good enough?”
For the most part, I would say yes.
However, the reason I put this together is the cards.
There are so many decks of cards, that having trays for them will be a godsend when this gets to the table!
This solution calls for four of the 16mm deep card trays that hold 42 cards and two of the 10mm deep card trays that hold 28 cards.

One of the deep trays holds all of the standard-sized Clockwork cards (the solo game).
There’s also one deep tray for the Conservative/Liberal bills and one deep tray for the Cross-Party bills..

The other three card trays hold Events (deep tray), the Supporters (thinner tray), and the Uncertainty cards with the player Politicians (another thinner tray).
There are about 12 other cards that are just scattered into a couple of the trays where there is room for them.
All of this fits into the box, leaving a lot of room.

They may bounce around a bit.
But at least they’ll be protected!
As I said, you don’t really need the pieces tray, but the card trays may be invaluable.
I don’t like having cards in baggies too often, just because the stack of cards in a bag can be really unwieldy.
If you want to buy this set without the pieces tray, that would not be a terrible thing.
But hey, why not have that too? It does make things pretty easy.
When I get this to the table, I think it will be a lot easier than it would have been otherwise.
I’m looking forward to doing that!
