A Gaming Life

Longtime readers of this blog (hi Bob!) will remember from a couple of weeks ago my post about Werewords Deluxe and how it was coming to Kickstarter on March 5 from Bezier Games.
Unless I’m in some kind of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey sort of situation, I think today is March 5.
Checking Kickstarter, I do indeed see Werewords Deluxe on there!
For those of you who don’t know, Werewords Deluxe is a social deduction word game where players are trying to guess the secret word that only the Mayor knows. But one player (and it could be the Mayor) doesn’t want the villagers to guess it.
That’s the werewolf.
One player is the Seer, and they want the villagers to guess it, but they don’t want to be too obvious about it. If the villagers guess the word but the Werewolf correctly identifies the Seer, then the Werewolf still wins. Meanwhile, if the villagers do not guess the word but they can correctly identify the dastardly Werewolf who was leading them astray, they can still win.
This was an insta-back for me because it will go great with my lunchtime games at work, as well as be good for my game group.
They’ve already more than tripled the pledge goal, so I think it will be pretty easy to reach a lot of the stretch goals.
It’s scheduled to fund on April 4, 2018.
Why not go back it today?

This is a blog about board games, with the occasional other post for a bit of spice.
